2011 OBS WRITERS' RETREAT - JAMAICA
includes:

•        Daily Sessions: Morning, afternoon and evening sessions designed to lay the
groundwork for the day's activities to lead you closer to a finish product.
Speakers will discuss the writer's craft, and converse about the process of writing.

•        Hands-On Workshops: Addressing a variety of genres and topics in writing,
these workshops contain no more than 8 participants. In addition to other
conference activities, participants will engage in free writing exercises and focus
on brainstorming and experimentation.

•        Community Environment: You will join writers in a supportive community to
share work and ideas with others who understand the passion for writing.
Participants will receive constructive feedback and encouragement from
facilitators and peers. This retreat will help participants gain inspiration, build
confidence, and provide many networking opportunities.
